After writing to Graham Watson MEP regarding his commitment and promotion of the GAVI Alliance, the Cardiff group has received the following response:

Thank you for your email of 4^th February regarding the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunisation.

I apologise for the time it has taken for me to reply to your enquiry.

Please be assured that I have written to The Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP, to ask him to petition his counter parts across Europe to support the GAVI Pledging Conference in June 2011.

I shall revert to you with the response I receive in due course.

As a member of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs I shall endeavour to highlight the excellent work which GAVI is involved with at every available opportunity.
