Dear Meg Munn,     





    I am writing to you to respectfully bring your attention to the ongoing  and worsening crisis surrounding Tuberculosis.  The past 24th of this month was World TB Day and I hope that this year will mark the beginning of a concerted political effort in finally realising the threat of TB both in developing countries and here at home.

This month we are introducing a nationwide fundraising and advocacy campaign called Live Below the Line. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of the fact that 1.4 billion people in the world live below the extreme poverty line, on less than £1 a day. We are using the opportunity to raise awareness about TB, which is both a cause and an effect of extreme poverty, and kills millions of people every year.
