In Brussels on 25 June,  a successful pledging conference for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance raised more than $9 billion to protect 500 million children around the world from preventable diseases, which will save at least 8 million lives over the next 5 years.

But how does a multilateral institution like Gavi work, and how does it respond to the health priorities of governments and communities?

Join our national grassroots conference call on Tuesday 5 August, where we will explore this question. Learn how the work of institutions such as Gavi practically helps real people and communities, and how campaigning here in the UK helps to secure effective global health programmes such as essential vaccinations.

Date: Tuesday, 5 August

Time: 8 pm

Venue: Online

Attendance is free.

Special guest speaker: Dr. Bvudzai Magadzire, Director of Partnerships at VillageReach.
