blog photoHello! My name is Anja and I will be joining the RESULTS UK team until December as a Health Advocacy Assistant.

I graduated from university in July of this year with a BA in English Literature and International Relations, and have spent the past three months interning at a small charity that supports victims of sexual exploitation in Reading. I am a strong believer in the importance of equal opportunities for all individuals and have a keen interest in supporting my fellow global citizens in any capacity possible.

For the past year 10 months I have also been the RESULTS UK Reading grassroots group facilitator and am now excited to be a bigger part of the organization’s health advocacy work. I first got involved with RESULTS because of the unique opportunity it offers volunteers to be an intricate part of campaigning and advocacy, and I have found being a part of RESULTS UK a highly interesting and deeply fulfilling experience.

Outside of this work, I enjoy reading Jane Austen novels, yoga, crosswords, watching The Great British Bake Off and eating chocolate, among a myriad of other things.

Feel free to get in touch with me at [email protected] if there’s anything you need.
