organise your own event

Organising and running an event can be a great way to fundraise for Results, as well as being a meaningful way to connect with others and raise awareness of our work. It’s a chance to rally your community around a cause that truly matters, and can be a hugely rewarding way to bring your community together. There are many different kinds of events you could run, each with the power to amplify our mission to end global poverty and injustice. For example:

• Community event – You could run a cream tea event or plant sale in your local community. You could also host a summer BBQ, film screening, clothes swap or quiz night. 
• Bake off – Fundraising doesn’t get much tastier than holding your own Bake Off. You could even double-up and hold a bake off competition at work or at school and then sell the cakes afterwards.

Embark on a challenge that not only tests your limits but transforms lives in the process! There are many different challenges you, or your local group, could ask friends and family to sponsor you for, all while championing the cause of global poverty eradication. You might also be interested in fundraising for Results through an existing event or challenge, such as a running event organised by LimeLight Sports Club or a climbing event organised by the Three Peaks Challenge.

If you decide to set-up your own fundraiser, you can register your event on Just Giving and start fundraising straight away by sharing your page with family and friends. Or, if you’d prefer to collect donations in cash, you can do so and then transfer the money to us after your event through our CAF Donate page.
