Our April 2015 Conference Call was all about celebrating the passage of the 0.7% Act, which received Royal Assent on 26 March, 2015. We were joined by Baroness Alison Suttie, one of the key figures in the Bill’s journey through Parliament, who gave us insight into what made the Act possible and what it means for UK aid. As always we had fantastic questions from Grassroots volunteers, who joined us from Hastings, Leeds, Manchester, Norwich, and Reading, to name just a few! Check out the recording below: The passage of the 0.7% Act could not have happened without campaigners, and we’ll need campaigners to keep the commitments alive and met in the best way possible. Why not join RESULTS and be an active part of this? Email Tom on [email protected] or phone the office on 0207 793 3970 and be a part of ending extreme poverty in a generation. Want to do even more? Join us for our National Conference from the 13th-15th June 2015 and learn all about the questions that face the decision-makers setting the post-2015 development agenda. We’ll see you there!
