This month’s call focused on supporting lifesaving UK Aid and the action we are asking you to take ahead of the parliamentary debate on the 13th June, writing to your MP to share why you’re #ProudOfAid. We were joined by a special guest speaker, Lord Purvis of Tweed. Lord Purvis is a Scottish Liberal Democrat Peer who has been particularly involved with the enactment of the 0.7% legislation, and helped guide it through the House of Lords on its way to becoming law. We also heard feedback from across the network on the brilliant array of Healthy Lives events that have been organised during May, as well as an update on the RESULTS National Conference and the exciting speaker line up.
