You can hear the recording of February’s grassroots conference call here. After a discussion of the latest attacks on UK aid in the media, and the importance of continuing to speak up for our efforts to achieve the Global Goals, the discussion turned to one of the most important topics in global health – malnutrition.

Good nutrition underpins one’s ability to lead a healthy life, and the UK has a strong record on helping countries fight malnutrition in all its forms. RESULTS’ Head of Policy Advocacy Dr. Sylvia Anie shared her perspective on why the Department for International Development (DFID) must continue to improve its policies on malnutrition, to ensure the UK’s nutrition programmes are as effective as they can possibly be. Dr. Anie brought to the discussion her considerable experience of policy development at the Commonwealth Secretariat, where she drove the agenda on human development across 53 countries and 3 continents.
