On this month’s grassroots conference call, we were joined by inspirational guest speaker Jane Napais Lankisa, a Youth Leader for Nutrition with the Scaling Up Nutrition civil society network in Kenya. Jane shared her passion for supporting her community to improve their nutrition, especially for adolescent girls, and the extra challenges created by the current food crisis. You can watch the video here, and also read her recent blog post on the importance of adolescent nutrition.

This month’s advocacy action is to ask the UK Government to commit to reaching 50 million women and girls with nutrition-relevant programmes over the next 5 years, a scale of ambition it has previously achieved, but has not re-committed to. You can find our action materials here.
