Imagine living in a world without extreme poverty, with zero hunger, good health, and gender equality; a world where everyone has access to education, clean water and sanitation. This is no idle dream: it’s the goal we have set ourselves just 12 more years to achieve.
But with rising division, national self-interest and global insecurity, there is more need than ever for positive, engaging advocacy for international development. How can we build a movement when the world is in the midst of such great change? It’s a big goal, and to get there we all need to come together and join the dots. This is a time to reflect on how we can play our part in forging this wider movement to end extreme poverty by 2030.
This year, we’ll be exploring our role within the wider movement throughout the weekend of our National Conference. Through a series of sessions on Saturday and Sunday with high profile speakers and inspiring activists, together we’ll learn how to join the dots and achieve the world we want to see by 2030. As well as this, you’ll meet like-minded people from around the country who share the same desire to end poverty and be the change they wish to want in the world.
You can also join us for an Advocacy Day on Monday, where you will have the opportunity to put your skills to action.
Day tickets for Saturday or Sunday are priced at £12, and tickets for the whole weekend are £15. Click the link below for more information and to book your ticket.
