Shuhra Koofi

Shuhra Koofi is a Campaign Officer with over five years of experience working with a variety of organisations both within and outside Afghanistan.
A graduate of UCL with a Master’s degree in Education and International Development, Shuhra has focused her work on advancing gender equality in education, particularly in conflict and post-conflict settings. She previously served for a UNICEF-funded project in Afghanistan, where she supported efforts to improve access to education for girls through community-led approaches.

Outside of her professional life, Shuhra enjoys long walks, listening to music, and capturing the world through her camera lens. She joined Send My Friend To School because its mission to promote inclusive and equitable education aligns perfectly with her passion for empowering marginalised communities through rights-based policy and advocacy.
