This month we were joined by Dr Jessica Potter, Consultant in Respiratory Medicine and Chair of the UK Academics and Professional to end TB (UKAPTB).
Jessica spoke about the findings from the recent report published by the APPG on Tuberculosis (for which Results provides the secretariat) titled ‘Tuberculosis in the UK: Rising Rates’. She discussed in detail the reasons behind the concerning rise UK tuberculosis (TB) rates, why TB is an indicator for wider inequalities, and what the UK Government needs to do to properly tackle this trend.
